How we work

Posture before price.

No fee is set in advance. At the close of the engagement, the client decides what the work was worth to their business and what to contribute, including the option of nothing at all.

01 · Posture

The principles underneath the work.

Values come before revenue.

Engagements are accepted on fit, not on fee. The work is never led with price.

Sustainable beats fast.

Most clients see meaningful improvement within two to four weeks. Quick fixes are not the deliverable; durable change is.

Generosity over leverage.

The shop is yours, the work is yours. No clawback, no retainer pressure, no upsell engineered into the close.

Selectivity over scale.

Volume is not the goal. A small number of well-fit engagements per year is.

Dignity is non-negotiable.

No client is made to feel small for not having it figured out. The posture is calm, candid, and respectful.

The work is the work.

An engagement leaves the client with something they can hold and use, not a slide deck and an invoice.

02 · The Shape of an Engagement

From intake to handoff.

A typical engagement moves through five phases. The exact deliverable varies by industry and need.

01

Intake

Client completes the Google Form. Initial fit is reviewed.

02

Discovery

Conversation with the owner. In-person observation when relevant.

03

Diagnosis

Identification of priorities, gaps, and opportunities.

04

Delivery

Concrete recommendations, templates, designs, or documents.

05

Handoff

The work is given to the client without conditions.

This is not pay-what-you-want and not a discount. It is a deliberate posture: the work is offered on its merits, the relationship is the foundation, and the fee is the client's call.
